falling asleep to dateline podcasts

so they take every episode of dateline and put the audio unedited on spotify. i’m not even a big true crime person, but that makes it even better- im only borderline interested, so I barely make it past the first minute.

It’s just so hard to concentrate on the words bc the production is so muted and not at all directed toward an audio first product, and it’s very frequently keith morrison’s dulcet tones. If you can get over it’s not a very nice topic to drift off to, you’ll be so focused trying to follow the story you will immediately go down. i like to make a spotify playlist with an episode and then brown noise for 12 hours,
