Having something thrilling happen inside where i feel an old interest returning: It’s music history. How music is shaped by political and societal forces and how it in terms shapes those forces back. I think I had hidden from my love of music for a while bc I was scared to feel things and also felt a bit of envy of the artists who can express themselves so clearly and with such passion, but my fear of those sentiments has worn off in the past few months. Am looking for any books, podcasts or academic research I can get my hands on re: music history. thxx!!!
